CONNECTION GUIDE

PREREQUISITES

You will need a 3.3.5a-compatible client. We do not distribute client files — you must source your own legitimate copy. Plenty of guides exist online for locating and preparing one.

⚠ Vault 167 does not provide game files. Users are responsible for obtaining the appropriate client through legal means.

STEP 1 — REGISTER A DWELLER ACCOUNT

Visit the enrollment terminal and create your account.

  1. Navigate to /signup
  2. Choose a username (3-16 alphanumeric characters)
  3. Set a password (6-16 characters)
  4. Provide a valid email address

STEP 2 — CONFIGURE YOUR CLIENT

Locate the realmlist.wtf file inside your client folder. The path will be similar to:

[ClientFolder]/Data/enUS/realmlist.wtf

Open it in any text editor and replace its contents with:

set realmlist vault167.duckdns.org

Save and close.

STEP 3 — CLEAR YOUR CACHE

If you've connected to other servers previously, clear your cache to avoid conflicts:

The client will rebuild what it needs on next login.

STEP 4 — LAUNCH AND CONNECT

  1. Launch the client executable
  2. Enter your dweller username and password at the login screen
  3. Select the realm
  4. Create your character or load an existing one

ADDONS

3.3.5a-compatible addons are widely available. Stick to addons explicitly marked for the matching version.

Common sources for compatible addons include hobbyist archives, GitHub repositories, and community wikis. A simple search for "3.3.5a addons" will turn up plenty.

To install: place the addon folder inside Interface/AddOns/ in your client directory. Enable at character select.

⚠ Only download addons from sources you trust. Some unofficial addon archives bundle malware.

SUPPORT

This is a small private installation. There is no official support channel beyond reaching out to whoever pointed you here.

Common issues are usually solved by clearing cache, double-checking your realmlist entry, or verifying your client matches the expected version.
